The project develops:
– Comprehensive management plan for Coastal Water Resources
– Evaluation of ecosystem services of each basin
– Risk analysis of water resources in the face of climate change.
Within each basin, the tasks depend on the physical characteristics of the basin and the social context. In all of them, a diagnosis of the water resources and of the available tools is made to develop the transversal objectives.
Two of the results of this project were the preparation of hydrogeological studies in Haiti and El Salvador.
